In the post-Thanksgiving lull, or in many cases, the Black Friday consumerism craze, we here at MoveUp are pausing from our family time to reflect on how grateful we are for 2019.

Through our partnerships, in the last 11 months we have reached 970 with our mobile application, AEI Para Ti.

In the last 3 weeks, we’ve reached 443 people with the smart projectors and cross USBs. 117 individuals are actively studying today.  3 weeks ago, they didn’t have that opportunity.

Numbers alone are inspiring; words are even more moving.

Just this week…

Joselyn, a mother living in La Vijía, told me: “Although I wasn’t part of the training, within a week, I already know everything about the projector!  I am learning a new technological skill.”

César, a 19-year old in Samaná said that he brings the projector home with him, and now a friend is studying the Bible Institute with him.  When they’re not studying, they put on children’s English classes, and the neighborhood kids come running.

Patrick, a school principal and pastor in Muñoz testified that the class on Family vs. Business finances has changed his entire family’s perspective on how to do business together.

Words are inspirational, but a picture speaks a thousand of them.

I’ll leave you with these.  With a very, VERY thankful heart,

The MoveUp Team
